The owner of two dogs that have been accused in a series of attacks in Downtown Jersey City appeared in municipal court with a new lawyer yesterday, but the issue of how to handle “graphic” medical photos has prompted another delay in the case, today’s Jersey Journal reports.
Susan Kolb, now represented by attorney Gina Calogero, has asked to go to trial in the hope that her two South African boerbels won’t be ordered euthanized.
The dogs, held at the Liberty Humane Society in Jersey City since Jan. 19, have been accused of several attacks after they either got away from Kolb or she let them loose.
The issue of the photos will be the subject of a hearing at 1 p.m. Friday.
